Stopped my pill yesterday!

Mainly because it was making me a hormonal wreck, messing up my periods and caused me to gain a stone!

We're going to be super duper careful until our wedding night, but after that who knows?!? I thought we'd be waiting until 6 months after but a couple of weeks ago Mr Cupcake said that as soon as we were married being careful wasn't an issue, so I'm not sure if that was a strange man way of saying he doesn't want to prevent anything or not. He's super broody but has admitted to being super nervous about being a dad so his messages get a little mixed sometimes, bless him!

I am excited to start being fertile again though as I have a great period tracker on my iPhone so I look forward to a few months of getting to know how my body works, seeing as how it's not really had the chance to act naturally for the last 7 years!

Hi there..... Word of warning.....5 years ago I got married and came off the pill 2 weeks before wedding as I had been on pill for like 18 years or so and never knew how my cycle was etc. I thought it would take me up to a year to maybe get pregnant. 4 weeks later BFP!!!! I was over the moon as I had a honeymoon baby aaaawww. Here I am 5 years later TTC baby no 2 and just got my coil out on Wednesday. Don't thnk it will happen quick this time cos I'm ancient now (38) and think it was just a fluke last time!! Anyway - good luck to you honey but make sure you are super duper careful if you really want to wait till wedding....when is the big day??

Believe me, I'm not letting him near me without it covered! I've got my dress and it doesn't have any give!!

Wedding is in 5 months which I know will fly by, then hopefully it won't be too long until I can join all you lucky TTC ladies!

I just had my first (or first to my knowledge) EWCM!

I've been on the pill for pretty much the last 9 years, and my little iPhone period/fertility tracker had tomorrow as my first fertile day, so I'm pretty chuffed! My first proper off the pill period wad only 2 days late, so I was happy and now am even happier as I think we all worry that the pill could cause lasting damage.

Fingers crossed this next cycle is still timely!
