My wife works in an office environment where whe sits a lot during the day. Her stomach feels quite pressured when shes sitting but eases when she walks about.

Any tips on how to ease this or is it just a matter of getting up every now and again?

Is there a microwave in the office? If so I'd suggest getting a heat bag, heat it up in he microwave and put on tummy, should ease it, I've been using mine and it helps. (Used it before for period pains too)

Cheers andrea ill let her know and see if it helps.

I have same problem i have a cushion elastic banded to my chair but i jus keep moving about x

Im guessing there must be something out there that helps or maybe in the short term replace her work chair with something that angles better to take any extra pressure away from the stomach.

In my day if call centres this would call for a risk assessment and many mod cons being thrown in her direction.

she should be getting a workstation assessment as should I but as I am still waiting on one from when I had my little girl nearly three years ago I dont hold out much hope
