I've noticed the Mothercare 10% discount and that would save me £40 as I chose the pram I wanted and it's £400 but I think it's still too early to be buying things. Do you think they will run this offer again  ????

When does the offer expire?

If it is running for a few weeks, you have time to wait it out.

I know some people buy early. I think most leave the big stuff until the 20 week mark. But it is totally personal choice really.

Sorry I am not of much use lol

go for it if its saving u money, ur past the 12 week worry stage so unless ur supersticious i wud buy it..

It is a personal choice. I am waiting until about week 24 before I get the pram. My mum wants me to get the pram a week before I am due as she is VERY superstitious but with all the gadgets these prams come with these days I will need time to get used to it and figuring out what does what!

If you are absolutely certain it's the pram you want then go for it.

I've changed my mind so many times and I see different offer's all the time, I'm sure there will be more offer's and there's no rush so I'm waiting.

Have you looked around online for the same pram as chances are you'll find it much cheaper elsewhere, saving more than £40.

Mothercare are really expensive for prams and stuff. The one we wanted we found over £100 cheaper elsewhere online. We tried it out in Mothercare and came home and found at least 5 online sites offering huge savings on it.

Unless of course its a Mothercare own brand one you want

I waited until i was 25 weeks, but that's just cos I'm a bit superstitious and didn't want to buy stuff too early-i did loads of reaseach before that so we were sure which one we wanted. It's taken a week of pushing it around and working out how to do different stuff and now I'm thinking of taking it down cos it's getting in the way.
It's totally up to you hun and if it's the one you really want go for it!!
I keep seeing loads of different deals coming and going so i don't think you'll miss out if you decide to wait-try looking online too. That's what we did and saved over £100.
:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

I just rang Mothercare and they said they have these sorts of offers quite often so I'm going to wait. It's the MY3 I want that's a Mothercare own brand but I'm not one for jumping in head first and like to have a good look around first.

I know that if i saw a pram and i fell in love with it their and then i would HAVE to have it, im like a spoilt child. But i wouldn't be keeping it in the house.
But no prams have struck me as being " the one" (apart from the silver cross vintage one, which won't fit in my car).

With Harrison i think i had everything i needed by the time i was 20weeks but with this one the poor lil mite as a few bits and bobs and thats it so far.
Buy when the time is right for you.

you could always get it on mothercare nursery plan and then u would be covered if anything was to happen, thats what i did and i was 15 weeks
