Hi Everyone.

Im still not experiencing any movement in my belly, what so ever. None of the feelings that Ive read about online Ive had. My friend is 3 days ahead of me and shes been feeling it since about 14 weeks! I sometimes think that could be movement but then I have a bit of gas. Last scan was at 15 weeks and baby very active and healthy so I know its probably all okay in there now but just cant help but worry. Ive had no pains, no bleeding, no discharge.

Is doing alot of walking bad in pregnancy? I do a a few of miles a day when I go to Uni. When I do, I notice by belly goes hard and sticks out.

Im also having extremly bad leg pain too. At night especially. When I lay on my Right side I just feel the pain building up in my lower thighs, knees and then calfs. So I move back to the left. Only been happening for this last week and Its getting to me now. Id just love to fall asleep on my belly

Hope some of you experienced ladies can help!

xxxxx

Dont worry about it hun, the fact that your quite active is probably why you haven't felt anything! It's still quite early on for you. Just sit back and relax with the fact that the baby isn't keeping you away at night yet lol!
I'm sure you will feel something soon!
XxX

Hey :) I only felt tiny movements at 20 weeks, then by 24 weeks I felt proper movement and now it's non stop!
So don't panic - it will come in time.

Walking is great in pregnancy - keep it up!!

Leg pain, yeah I got that too, still do, to the point where I'm a bit stiff for a while then it eases. I slept on my front until I couldn't physically do it anymore, it's the comfiest!

Hope this eases your thoughts. X

Wiv my 1st pregnancy I didn't feel anythin til 20+ weeks xxx

I didn't feel anything until I was 15/16 weeks little flicks then about 17 weeks onwards I felt kicks and thumps :) (this is my first baby) x now i feel him move alot but some days he has long gaps where he is sleeping I'm guessing x

i felt movements at 20 weeks and ive been told walking is good for you dont worry hun your still quite early and remmber every pregnancy is diffrent x

i was told if you were quite active before and quite small in size it can take longer to feel movements because ur stomach in harder to begin with. I know what u mean with walking tho. They say walking is good for you but everything is good for u just in moderations. If i walk for a long time my stomach gets really hard and starts to kinda hurt. Your body is there to tell you whats right for you. So if u feel u may be pushing urself to much... leave 5 mins earlier and stop halfway for 5 mins rest.

You will feel movement soon enough!

I only feel my baby when i am sitting down and relaxed...havent yet felt movement when i am standing up or moving about. x

hey i didn't feel any movement until the last couple of weeks, so prob felt first movements at around 19 weeks, am now 21 and still feeling only light flicking movementsxxxxxx

I definitely think the walking will be doing you loads of good hun so keep it up for as long as you want. AS for movement I haven't felt anything yet either, I really think it varies from woman to woman and can range from anything from 14 up to around 24 weeks. Glad you've had a recent scan to reassure you that all is well with baby. How are you feeling in yourself these days? I remember you've been feeling a bit detached? xx

Don't worry , I have had 3 kids, and all of them I felt my first flutters at 22 weeks, and this time with number 4, at 20 weeks, but took 4 weeks ore to get proper kicks / movements etc (I have placenta on th front this time, and that delays feelings )

Just so you know i also had same worry too. But i didnt start to feel my baby until i was 21 weeks. Hang in there and see how you go over the next few weeks x

I only just started feeling movements last week. Didn't get the early flutters everyone talks about. I feel baby move quite alot now though. Don't worry, it will happen for you soon (This is what everyone said to me though, so I know it doesn't make you worry any less!) Everyone is different!

with my 1st pregnancy i didn't feel anything until 19 weeks don't panic it's completely normal xx

Baby is prob moving about but ur not noticing.
It doesn't feel like kicks just flicking but bare in mind u still got other things going on in ur body so it can be hard to distinguish what's what. I didn't get that full on flicking feeling til I was 19 weeks.
I was so worried that baby wasn't moving about that I'd end up going for a scan at my EPU just so I could see my Lil shrimp flap about. Then once I began to feel him I was happy.
And now he kicks n tries to do the running man. To top it off he kicks so hard I expect to wake up one day see him on the bed waving at me loool

Great thread ladies - made me realise it's not surprising that I haven't started to feel anything yet! x

I have only just stared feeling movement, I have never felt it this early though I know its more common with subsequent babies to feel it earlier but it took me to my 6th to feel it now at 17 weeks, all my others were over 20 weeks, midwife told me its cause my tummy muscles are so strong its hard to feel it through them, so maybe my tummy muscles are not as good as they used to be now lol.
