stiiiiiiiiill bleeding after a D+C almost 2 weeks ago!

As the title says. So on Tuesday it looks like I'll have to go and see my GP

Anyone else experienced this, I felt a bit rough yesterday but don't really feel like I have an infection, which is what I've heard can cause bleeding.
There's not a huge amount of blood but it's very red.

Anyone any ideas?

You can bleed for up to 2 weeks after a D&C but if you read my posts, sometimes it isn't normal even though they tell you it is.

Where I am I called the epu when I was still bleeding and they did quite a few scans (they could still see something there but assumed it was a clot, not my placenta). If you can, I would go to a similar place as if you go to your GP you'll have to wait to be refered for a scan...

Have you done a PG test recently? When I was still bleeding after that time, the ward told me too (and it was still positive, that should ahve told them it was more than a clot!)

hi i just rang the EPAU and they seemed to agree with you and be keen to scan again. So I have a scan tomorrow afternoon. Hope they don't have to do the D + C again or summat

Well they agreed as we thought, there's still a bit in there, but not a lot so they're just going to hope nature deals with it. If they're going to do an !%*!ing operation, and knock you out, you'dve thought they'd do it right.

I'm to do a PG test in a week and see if it's negative, as when they did it in the hosp today it was still positive. These hormone levels will be keeping stuff from happening too.

I was given some antibiotics in case there was an infection.

I'm going on hols at the weekend so it's a bit annoying, but 'luckily' I don't have a lot of cramps or anything

So if the bleeding doesn't stop in 10 days I'm 2 ring them again.
