Sterilised bottles.....

How long is an empty sterilised bottle sterile for? Once it's out of the steriliser, how long is it good for with the teat, lid etc in place??
Just thinking of using cartons when I go out sometimes instead of water and formula.

I'm sure it would be fine for the day if you went out. It is no different really than you storing the milk in it for up to 24 hours and then using it.
