Started bleeding again

I hope someone can help! My LO is almost 8 weeks old, bleeding stopped completely at around 5 weeks. Yesterday I started bleeding again, I wouldn't say it's like a normal period. I'm exclusively breast feeding so wasn't expecting this to happen. Has anyone had anything similar? X

I'm actually going to the doctors for this tomorrow. I finished bleeding 2 weeks after birth and started at 6 weeks again very heavily. I could tell it wasn't a period as I didn't have much cramp. I've been bleeding for 3 weeks now. I'll let you know what they say x

I got my periods back at 8 weeks despite exclusively breastfeeding, it's not common apparently but happens fairly regularly. My first few post-pregnancy periods were very heavy though but they settled down. Hope everything's ok for you Msclaireypants!

I started my periods again around that time even though I'm ebf. Was gutted! Hope everything's okay!xx

Oh well, I guess that's what it is with me then. The break was nice while it lasted!!
