Post natal bleeding!

Ok, well Francesca is 5 weeks old now and about a week ago I thought my post natal bleeding had stopped.... I lost absolutely nothing for 3/4 days then suddenly it started again... Just from nothing to really quite heavy, almost like a period, in the space of a couple of hours and it's only become heavier since then.... Any ideas? Is that normal? I'm sure it is, I'm just freaking out a bit right now lol xx

Heppi the exact same thing has happened to me! I'm assuming it's normal, but will watch this thread for answers. x

I had it on & off for about 2 months! Was still bleeding when I had my 6 week check - and im sure was totally gone by 8.

same here hun... except that mine didn't stop til about 10 weeks and then come 13/14 weeks I was back into normal periods again lol xx

My bleeding has stopped to, but since yesterday when i wipe i have only the tiniest bit of brownish colour discharge like i get before a period! so not sure if its on way!

Spoke to the health visiotr... Apparently it was my first period!! lol!!
