Hello lovelies, am 38+2 and through the night whenever I'd go to the loo (which is a lot) I was noticing some bright red blood on the tissue, not a large amount just spots. As far as I know I haven't lost my plug yet and this wasn't accompanied by any discharge or anything.
It's sort of stopped now literally just tiny spots but just not sure what to make of it, anyone else ever had this around this point?
Also baby's movement seems to have slowed down a bit, he's still moving every now and then just not like he used to, but I put that down to lack of space and preparing for the big day.

Yes honey dont worry i had it with my first..this is how my labour started. First spotting ( it was in the afternoon ) , then it stopped. Then late evening a bit more blood came, like beginning of period, but soon dissapeared. Then at night i had slight period like cramps.. Then the following day contractions came, but there wasnt any more blood..weird, but thats how it started for me.. lovely super gorgeous little girl, who is now 12 as a result :-) good luck sweetie, ou little one is on the way Xxxx

Hope ur feeling fine. Did u contact ur midwife?

Thanks for the replies, yeah I did she said to do the whole lying on side with cold drink for the movement and to call her back in an hour, she didn't really seem concerned about the spotting, thing is baby doesn't usually move in the mornings anyway but never mind, may have to have a trip to the hospital if he hasn't moved before I call back, I'm sure all is well though :)

I hate when ur worried and they r not one bit bothered. Hope u and baby r ok x
