Does anyone get this?

I'm due to be ovulating around now and have broke out with THE MOST AWFUL spots on my chin. Got a few to the left side and then a HUGE spot on the right. I'm not even exaggerating its taking up most of my chin it's so big and red!

Waiting for OH to get home and praying we have time to go tesco before it shuts so I can get some of that fast track spot stuff. Nightmare, I start a new job tomorrow too!!

xxx

Yep I get really bad spots on my chin and around my nose. They are classic areas for hormonal spots. I really thought by 33 my body would be used to changes in hormone levels, but nope, every month up they pop!!! :wall2: lol

I use witch hazel on mine, helps calm the redness. Xx

Its so bad! Ive used some freederm fast track gel but would prefer something more natural! Where do you get witch hazel from? Xx

I feel so embarassed going into work like this haha will be piling the concelear on!!

I get exactly the same! Spots, especially the deep cystic ones on the chin and jawline is very hormonal. I started getting the cystic acne after coming off Yasmin and starting cerazette two years ago. I used to take antibiotics (lymecycline) which really helped, but obv off that now I am ttc. I use epiduo, my doctor prescribed it to me, it's topical and it's part peroxide and part something else I've forgotten. It really does help! Other than that, healthy diet and lots of water, and potentially a cold compress if it's really inflamed!

I've gotten hormonal spots for about 10 years and sometimes I look like I've got two chins! I've tried so many different things but then I finally discovered tea tree oil, it's the best thing I've come across and it really stops the spots getting any worse and calms them down so quickly, it's the only thing I use now and I can't rate it enough.

If you have a Holland and Barrett near you they do it there and a whole range of tea tree oil stuff, the soap is brilliant too.

Thanks so much for the tips girls :). They're awful, never had them before my pill or whilst on my pill. Least its a good sign ive ovulated right? They look so awful! Xx

Ooh thanks laurajane :) I love the smell of tea tree so I might get myself to holland and barrats after work today! Xx

I'm the same unfortunately.
Always break out around this time. It's so not fair :( xx

Ive broken out really bad this month for the first time ever. Started around cd 3 or 4 so too early to be ovulating x
