for the last couple of hours my home phone keeps ringing - just once/twice when i answer it there is just fuzz - i cant get it clear to dail out/do 1471 - do you think its someone from ........the other side
- its thunder and lightening here as well

Might just be a fault. I used to get Radio2 on my phone in Leeds until I got in touch with BT. Something to do with the junction box or something.

its the weather hun, when I worked in telecommunications the number of complainst sof this kind of interference would shoot right up whenever there was a storm.

i thought it might be the storm but it has passed now and i still cant get a line - do you think someone has phoned me and not hung up properly??

the storm might have done something to the telephone pole, or the exchange, or even your outside connection, which wont necessarily be sorted once the storm goes.

if you can get to a phonebox or call 0800 numbers from your mobile, then give them a ring 0800 800 151 or try the website.

has someone called you on a mobile and not realised? They probably have it in their bag and haven't hung up listen to see if you can hear distant voices. Your name begins with A so you are probably top of their phonebook!
