Hi
Does anyone have any experience of this at all?
Thanks :)

I don't know about the testing but one of the guys I used to work with was told he was infertile after chemo and went on to father twins naturally after xx

Still practicing on the new phone.....

Oh no, I don't need more twins thanks ;)
I know it can happen but I was just wondering what the odds are? Will it be a some sperm or no sperm situation?
We haven't really been spoken to about the whole sperm thing so far :(

Hi cos, my hubby was given the opportunity to store a sample before his chemo. We did as we weren't 100 percent sure that the second one we were expecting at the time would be our last.
The nhs paid for sperm analysis and a year's storage. It would be handy if they would pay for analysis after chemo too though if you'd like it.

We have a friend who had testicular and secondary cancer 12 years ago. He had testicle removed, chemo and radio. He went on to have a second child with his wife, although they needed IVF to achieve it

Good luck x

Thanks for that :)
We didn't have time for storage as he needed to start chemo immediately.
I will ask about testing at his next appointment.
Hope you're oh is getting on ok x

He is, thank you :-) he's been back at work a month now and has a scan in november to check how things are. He's feeling tired but otherwise ok :-)

Hi my partner finished chemo 2 years ago for a stage 3 testicular cancer, we didn't get time to bank either. Will ask about baby making in December at next oncologist appointment. We already have a daughter who was born 5 days before diagnosis, so not sure if they will give us any free ivf ect?? Xx
