Spelling the name Esme

How would you spell the name Esme?

I do not want it to not be pronounced properly when my baby goes to school or sees the doctor.

It should be pronounced "Es-May"

Do I put an accute é on the end? So it is spelt Esmé?

Or do I just spell it Esme without the accute on the end?

I only know two and they are both Esme. I've never heard anyone pronounce it differently either.

Esme is probably better it's known to be pronounced that way
And my friend with an apostrophe (') in her name has said getting things like bank cards and certain online forms etc are annoying as they don't have the correct validation rules to allow for non standard ascii characters.

I've actually come across two Esme's and they were pronounced different

Esmé was how you would Pro uncle it with 'Es-may'
Another was Esme but pronounced 'Es-mee'

I like the accented, I think it's quirky xx

Esmé pronounced es-may and Esme pronounced es-mee

A friend of mine almost changed his daughters name after six months as it was Es-mee but everyone pronounces it wrongly so I'd add accent if you want es-may x
