Sorry girlies for not commenting on what happened at the doctors after i said i would bring in a solicitor into my doctors surgery to find out whether i was pregnant or having a MC. My computer decided it would "blow up" later on that week, so i now have a new one lol. Bloody Typical.
But... Here is the news to all that is following me, or is even interested
I took the solicitor into the surgery but my doctor buckled and said that was not needed and that we could resolve the situation in a calm manner and that legal attendance was not needed.. Which was great i thought, at least i have scared them into sorting me out haha.
I went into his office and demanded a female doctor as i did not think he was treating me fairly. I got a female doctor
She soon got me in to the EPU unit, where i found out that i was not pregnant, by bloods as well as an internal scan. It was heartbreaking to know that even though i had positive tests i was not expecting, but nice to know that there was a problem that needed sorting out.
I was then told to make an appointment for the nurse to do some hormone & thyroid bloods to see if there was a problem in that region.
Had that done last week and found out the results today.
I FINALLY have an answer to my pain and problems.
Turns out i have high testosterone and now have PCOS.. poly cystic Ovarian Syndrome.
I now have a follow up scan on 22nd Feb to see how bad it is etc.
It is so nice to have a name to the problem.
She said to me that everything else was normal apart from the fact i have a hormone that women only get when breastfeeding in my system as well which i thought was a little odd!!
If i don't fall pregnant by July they are going to help me which medication etc.
It is a big relief for me as i was thinking it was something worse, it's a huge load off my shoulders and now i can breathe a little bit
So there you go... finally some answers!! xxx
