Sore mouth?

Aimee got a sore mouth and its really bothering her now. I noticed it about a week ago, all the inside of her lip on one side was all red. I thought maybe she had fell or something. I noticed a couple of days ago it all the was across now. She is spitting a lot but won't let me look in her mouth. What I have seen is it looks a bit sore on the inside of her cheeks too. Its must be stinging her cos when she is eating something like an orange she starts crying and trows it away. Do you think it could be thrush? I thought maybe she was a bit old to be getting that, I thought it was common in young babies but Aimee 20 month. Help!

Jake had thrush when he was about 5-6 months old and was prescribed nistatin oral suspension. Jake actually didn't have a white coating but I know that with thrush there is usually a white coating or white spots inside the mouth. If you are concerned take her to the Doctors.

I took her to the doctors and she said it isn't thrush as theres no white coating and she doesn't think its infected. Shes just given her some bonjella and said to keep an eye on it. No more licking lamp posts for Aimee!!!!!!!
