I've been making a start on buying things for my hospital bag, super early I know, but I bought a nightie today to wear during labour and it really freaked me out that 'this' is what I'll be wearing when I first meet my son/daughter, what I'll be wearing when I bring them into the world. Bit of a pointless post but hey

sweet, I've never even thought about that actually

x

I'm still on the look for THE nightie..where did you get yours,I find them all horrible !

i wouldnt get anything too expensive it might get stained with blood and if you want skin to skin make sure there is enough room for them to put baby on your chest so no skin tight nighties

aww! I never even thought about that.. now I'm thinking oooo its going to see my minging primark nightshirt that I bought.. it was a bargin though £4 for 2 nightshirts can't get better than that I don't think..

I've bought a cheap nightie to give birth in (& to get dirty) and then bought a nice one for afterwards. I can just throw the cheap one away then.

I can't wait to treat myself to some nice new pyjamas when little man is here.

ive bought myself new pjs for after my bath/shower haha

hehe i'm on the look out too... dont want to get it too early though incase i get even more huger than i am already!!! :/

Yes I've got some nice silky jamas for after, it's soooooo exciting!

My nighties are hand-me-down preggo ones. Have packed a couple, and a couple pairs of cheap tesco men's pj bottoms. I gave birth wearing a huuuuge baggy man's button up shirt, first time round. Was good, because it unbuttoned all the way. And it was charity shop bought, so when afterwards, having sweated and puked all over it, I threw it without feeling bad :)

i got 2 nighties for £5 from primark and some new pjs to wear for when im all clean and looking abit better when people visit.

managed to get pretty much everything finished ready to pack bag tonight. xxx
