soooooo happy - been 2 see midwife this morning!!

went to see midwife this morning, she took my blood to find whether or not my baby could have spina bifida or downs, im hoping everything is ok then she asked if i wanted to hear babys heartbeat, which obviously i jumped at the chance, and it was wonderful,i was soooo happy - still am, it was great!!!

Excellent news! It is so nice to hear the heartbeat. I am seeing my midwife in 2 weeks so hope to feel as happy as you!

aww glad it all when well, they always ask if u want to hear the heart beat, i dont know anyone who would actually say no though

mine didnt bleeding ask lol only been once since she could have picked it up but she didnt ask and i didnt mention i hadbought a doppler, specially so she might offer, thought hers might be uuuber strong.
Anyways glad you got to hear you lil one isnt it lovellyy ! Really strange because sometimes with the doppler you can hear your heartbeat and theirs at the same time, didnt realise quite how fast theirs was til i did this !!!
Iv got my tests coming back 18th of May n im worried like hell too, but all i keep thinking is were young and so relli unlikely to have anything go wrong and thats the thought im sticking too !!! Im sure we'll be fine hun

Yay its fab hearing babys heartbeat isnt it Every MW appointment I had I went away beaming from hearing her heartbeat, kept me smiling for days, hope it does the same to you

Snuggle i am beaming from ear to ear hehe!!! im soo happy from hearing heartbeat, bit sad that OH wasnt there, i told him not to bother coming as i didnt really know what the appointment was about and didnt think it would be much but we are DEF getting a Doppler next week now yay

Aww, Miss Gobby, I had the exact same MW appointment today! Blood taken and all the rest of it! It's all so great and exciting! Not the taking blood part of course. And I will soon find out my 20 week scan date as well! yay

I have a midwife appointment tomorrow, I am going to demand to hear the heartbeat as I haven't heard it yet. They haven't offered in previous appointments except at my booking in appointment and then they realised they didn't have the doppler in the car
