Sooooo pissed off

I just jumped in the bath to try to relax a little and whilst I was in there I missed a call. It was a blocked number so I assumed it was OH's parents as their house number is private. There was a voicemail so I listen to it and it was only my bloody midwife! Telling me she can't make it on Thursday to come round and discuss home birth so she'll be round on Friday morning instead! Not a problem you'd think? Except for the fact that my OH had booked Thursday off specifically to be there when she comes to us and had given up the chance to come to my consultant appt on Wednesday in order to be there on Thursday! I'm so so so so so so (not enough so's in the world) pissed off it's untrue! I could cry!

Gosh I bet that mw is pleased she got the answerphone cos I imagine you would have told her exactly what you thought of that.

I hate how they think we can all drop what we're doing at a moment's notice.

Did she explain why she couldn't come, last time my mw did that to me was that she had booked the day off for a holiday. Great.

Thanks guys x he's going to ask at work tomoz but chances are slim as his work are *******s! She said that she's got a course she has to attend so it's a valid excuse but surely she should of known before today! Grrrr! x we've just been through our collected home birth stuff and I'm feeling a little calmer now! It's just so frustrating that they expect it to just be ok! x
