I bought a video monitor for kenzo's room over a month ago, from the brand Summer Video Monitors, and it stopped working two days ago so I phoned their customer service line and the guy asked me what was wrong with it, then said they will send me a new one in the post.

He just took my address, no other questions asked - i don't even need to return the damaged one.

I'm thinking that anyone could do that to get a free video monitor (worth £79.99  )

Have you got the new one yet? If not, they might send you a letter asking you to return the other one before they dispatch a new one?

Or maybe they'll just send a new one out without asking questions. If they do I'm gonna ring them :rotfl:

That's what i was thinking, but I asked the man "Do I have to send you the one that's damaged?" and he replied "No".

I haven't recieved the new one yet, I wil get it within 7 working days apparantly... I bet a lot of people do that to get free stuff.

And the guy also told me that Toy's r' Us (where i got it from) would be happy to give me a refund, even if it's been over 28 days.

That means i can get:
1. A new video monitor
2. a refund of £79.99 for my old one.

did u have to give him details of serial number or any thing
