I feel really uncomfortable tonight. Not quite sure how to explain it, my stomach hurts along the bottom, I'm getting the odd pain in ma side, my bags sore and i'm feeling quite ill.

I know none of this sounds particularly major, but it doesn't feel normal!
My scan is on 19th of aug, but I'm not sure if I should call midwife tomorrow.

It all sounds kinda vague, but I'm not happy.

Xxx

I had lots of pain when i first pregnant, sometimes i was really sore. If you're really worried, why don't you ring your labour ward, there will be a community midwife there who'll be able to advise what the best thing to do is

It's always worth a phone call to midwife, they will probably tell you that if there is no bleeding to wait until your booked scan but you should ring and describe what you are feeling and hopefully they can put your mind at rest.

Do u have pressure or hurt when you pee? You could have a UTI.
I was in pain last week... awful pressure in lower stomach and sides and back. Thought it was bad trapped wind but it didnt ease. Turned out to be a bladder infection

Thanks guys. I've gone home to bed now. Gonna see how I feel in the morning and phone midwife then. Don't wanna phone at nearly 10pm When it's not like I'm in real pain or bleeding. Fingers crossed it's nothing. Xxx

Have you been too stressed lately over something or did something laborious? I hope you feel well soon, if it's your 1st pregnancy then sometimes there are days that you just don't feel well at all, which is understandable as there are a lot of changes taking place in your body to prep you for the childbirth. Make sure you're properly hydrated and eat healthy foods!

Hi, thanks everyone. Feeeling a bit better today - although stomach is still a wee bit sore in places - but i dont quite feel so "wrong" is you know what I mean.
Lorraine - I had done some lifting at work - but nothing heavy - we had a clearout to the charity shop, and my boss is super protective, but I dunno if i was panicing a wee bit cos thats probably the most lifting ive done since i found out.

Still - 19th cant come quick enough for this scan.

chill out and take it easy, maybe you'll feel better, ive been lifting bricks this morning as were extending the kitchen, didnt strain myself any and i feel fine lol. then again in my family we do building type stuff frequently and so im pretty used to it, didnt do any really heavy stuff.

I'm feeling a lot better now. Thing is I usually do a fair bit of lifting at work - one of the kids+wheelchair ways just over 20 stone and they house is at the top of a huge hill. but between my boss and DH ive not been allowed to do an awful lot over the past couple of months.
