i woke up this morning with the worst cold ever i keep choking and coughing really hard im scared little baba is going to get hurt when im coughing and stuff, my nose is runny my neck hurts and i feel like crap i have no idea what i can take either i dont ever really want to take anything boohooo i feel like poopoo!

I'm afraid there isn't a lot you can take paracetemol is fine but I know what you mean not wanting to take anything even though you feel like poo! Try some hot lemon and honey and just keep drinking plenty of water. Don't worry about LO, they will be fine and are more than likely oblivious to how your feeling! (lucky them!)

How funny.... i woke up with a cold and banging headache - i felt so crap this morning i had to get off the tram going to work as i thought i would faint, i have felt rubbish all day, my head is hurting really bad, i have cold, and my eyes feel really heavy

OH is just nipping to the doctors for a note to take his insulin on the plane when we fly on friday because he has to carry needles as hes a diabetic and needs a doctors note proving he is. when he goes in hes going to ask what is alowed to take during pregnancy so he can go pick me up something i feel like hell... i might hang in there but OH insists i take something to feel better i told him to get me a lemon instead haha x

know how your feeling hun i came down with a nasty cold and sore throat a few days ago and its still no better im getting right fed up went to work today came home and cried my eyes out feel so rotten hope your feeling better soon xxxxxx

you know what, right now im feeling fine... my 2 year old just sang apple bottom jeans to me hahahahaahhaah

Colds suck when you are pregnant. It definately doesnt harm the baby though so dont worry about that (i checked) All you can really take is paracetomol, olbas oil and honey and lemon.. oh and gargle with salt water for the throat.

thanks for your support girls... i was in so much pain today, i have blocked ears/banging headache, stuffy sore nose, Stiff painfull neck and really sore dry throat and chesty cough

i cant beleive what an awful cold it is whhyyy meeee !!

i went into the prarmacy today and got a consultation the woman i spoke with specialises with pregnancy and infants and what to take/not to take.. she gave me some throat numbing spray, Some ear drops and some nasal spray for my blocked nose.. nothing i can really help with my congestion or neck ache as they say to stay away from those kinds of meds and to stay away from the cough supressant drug (DM) the ear drops arnt really working and but the throat spray works for half hour or so the nasal spray is sooo good it unblocked my nose instantly now i just have to keep blowing ohhh look at me whining lol slap my wrists im just feeling sorry for myslef on a better note, i received my maternity bar and it went right in!!
