i am not taking any more chances with any heinz products, i am making my own dinners for maisy now and also using HIPP jars.

thought id give you a little update. called enviromental health today as i havent heard from them and they said they didnt know what the foreign object was so it has been sent for annalysis.
hope to hear soon what it was that i almost fed my baby.........

God, they're taking their time finding out are they not. :x

I once had blue pallett wood in a pre-packed sandwich from tesco's. I took it to enviromental health at the council offices and they sent it for analysis but nothing came of it and guess what I got....vouchers!!!

My mate at work rang The Sun but they weren't interested.

I hope you get a positive result. Its disgusting!

When me and my OH first started going out we lived together in Bolton and shopped at Aldi. Our weekly shopping came to a tenner lol Never got any free slugs though :(

my mum found a beatle in heinz beans once (many many years ago) and she sent it to them and they wrote a letter back not really menchening the beatle, just 'sorry' (no coupons)
So she wrote one back asking what the hell was it, and they wrote one back with a wiki-like explination of this random forign beatle. (not how it come to being in her tin of beans!)

that was it. Mum was well pissed off.

Jed is from Harwood, thats where his parents live, but me and Jed lived on Bromwich street in town then we moved to Great or was it little? Lever and then back to town, god I can't remember the name of the street now but it was right in town by toys r us. I worked at Bookers in Farnworth for a bit and we used to drink in the Alma right at the end of the high street. It was the rough rock pub full of weirdos

yeah they are slow. ive bought heinz products and whoever else makes baby food. cause mainly they were on offer and being discontinued some of them and somerfield in torquay had some with money off cause their shutting down on the 17th nov. its good cause that sho was crap and always half empty. whereas u go into other supermarkets and their always had to move around

just thought id let you know the outcome of the investigation.
the laboratory say its a piece of decayed rubber but heinz in italy refuse to believe that it was their negligence that resulted in it ending up in a jar of banoffee pudding.
they say everything gets passed through a sieve 1.1mm in diameter before it gets injected into jars and say it couldnt have come from the lid as they are monitored by cameras.
what a load of b*****ks.
somebody not doing there job properly.
my baby could have choked to death on this and nobody prepared to accept responsibility.
enviromental health say they have passed my details on to Heinz to offer me some sort of compensation for me being 'disatisfied' with there product but they can keep thier bloody voucher.
anyway, case is officially CLOSED.

Im sorry you got such a crap result, its cases like yours and others that I do not touch their baby food products.

I use hipp and cow and gate and no problems but I alwasy put the food in to bowls before i serve it!

Thats terrible the outcome, some people dont really care what happens and pass the buck on to others but im sure glad ur little one didnt eat any of the object and u had noticed it on time.
