Softcup experts please advise...

When do I use my softcups? everytime we bd? only after a + opk? It comes with 6 in a pack so I want to use them wisely. Also what if I only have ewcm and no + opk do I still use them?.....please advise.

hey, I only used them when I got a +OPK, immediately after sex. We followed SMEP so had sex that night and the next few nights, (and one afternoon! lol) then missed a night then did it again. I used softcups for all of those times. I even went off to work wearing one once!

good luck. (and if you have EWCM for sure, and not a +OPK yet but you think its coming, then there is no harm in using one. You should be having sex every 2nd day from CD8 until you get a +OPK anyway to boost your chances and make sure you dont miss the egg!)

I have a lond cycle and I have a feeling I ov'd late last month, I have opking and no+ yet. I'm on cd10 haven't bd'ed wasnt going to until cd13 or my opk shows a little more +....think that will be ok?

yeah that should be fine. I didnt ovulate until CD16 but as we were doing SMEP we started BDing every 2nd night from CD08 but we didnt really need to.

just make sure OH's sperm is fresh, ie not been in him for more than 10 days! maybe have sex soon or get him to sort himself before your get your +

Hi a softcup is meant for your period but can be used for ttc!

After dtd just pop one in and stops all the little swimmers falling out so in theory should help, in my head all makes sense and so I will keoo trying!

Yep worked for me! And one of the same sex couples on here using AI. They put the sperm into the softcup then inserted it. Now pregnant!
