soft spots

when do the soft bits on babies heads close up? i panic each time i'm holding her head and one of my fingers touches them, i think i'm brain damaging her by poking it! i'll feel more secure when theyre closed up!

i dont think they close until theyre at least 1 but might be wrong dont worry about hers just try to leave it alone

I think its about a year. I caught my eldest DD pressing her finger on Sams the other day, because she'd seen it pulsing and wondered why............
I nearly fainted!

I used to feel like this but you do get used to it. Jack has had some quite bad cradle cap so I have had to get used to it as I had to shampoo that area every night.

You won't hurt baby by just touching it.
