I was so sad to here about the fire, I cried when I learnt that the animals in the Pet Shop had perished. I know Blackpool very well as I've been going since I was a little Girl. My Mum and I have a long weekend in Blackpool every year. It's like going to my second home every time.
I hope they give the Arsonist a stiff sentence it's a terrible blow to Blackpool.

On a plus side it looks like they are going to be able to save the historic building although according to the council website they are starting demolition on the clifton st wall today as its so unsafe but trying to cause minimal impact on the rest of the building and the crime scene so police can continue their investigations. I think its going to take a long time to get the building back to its former glory but at least its looking possible now.

My hubbys gutted about yates he meets up with pals there when they go to blackpool on their nights out.Is the counting house still ok.

On another note if i want a BK i have to drive to Morecambe.Going to mothercare and toysrus on Sunday at Preston so i just might have to make a detour

The counting house is fine as far as i know but all the roads round there have been closed, Tell Mr sueken not to worry theres lots more bars in blackpool
I really want to go have a look at mothercare but i'm not good with traveling at the moment and preston is our nearest store too .

The mothercare in blackpool closed down nearly 10 years ago when i was pregie with my eldest, i got lots of bargins in the closing down sale though but we have to travel to preston for toys r us or ikea too, blackpool is rubbish these days.

haha that made me laugh. when i was pregnant i was dying for a burger king, but the clsest one was 7 miles away and that was closed for a refurb, so i got in the car and made my hubby drive 24 miles and wen i got there i didnt even want one so we drove back

Something possessed me to buy 11 packets of 'Whatevers' yesterday. They are the Asda version of Love Hearts but say minger on them instead. I ate three packets driving home from work but now I'm totally over Whatevers and I don't want them anymore and I've got 8 packets staring at me. Today it's all about Greggs Veg Pasty. I've gone faddy mental the last few weeks.

My heart goes out to you, purplepants, with the loss of your Subway. I went Subway crazy two weeks ago and had two in one day. I don't know how you're coping without it.
