I have started the full blown :puke: :puke: :puke:

The nausea lasts all day and is so full on that I think I need to run to the toilet every 10 minutes.

I am snacking on crackers, eating lots of carbs (that's all I crave) and it's just always there... except for 5 mins after I have :puke:

How do you cope!?

Me too! How is your bleeding? My spotting is STILL there but my symptoms are getting worse, not better, so not too worried about it (still brown and slight)

I am just so :puke: + have caught a cold- the only time I have had colds this year is when I've been preggo... and last time I got 3 colds in 2 months!

your really not having a good time at the min are u ?
Spotting seems to be easing off a bit now, I have quite a lot of tummy pain but i'm thinking positive and hoping its all down to stretching mucles etc.
Hopefully we will both be feeling good again soon

Clucky, im in the same boat. Have ALL DAY nausea at the moment, sometimes its better than others but its always there plauging me!!! :( :( Have felt quite down about it all, and a bit guilty cos all I want to eat is crap when I so feel remotely hungry. And my poor son im sure he is feeling a bit fed up cos im just loafing around all the time, im such a hermit I hardly went out at all last week, been signed off my part time job and everything.

Ive ordered these drops on line called preggy drops which are meant to relieve nausea, probably a gimmick but im willing to try anything now!

Hugs for you Clucky

Gosh I know exactly how you are feeling right now.
I fely soooo sick an was sick eery 15-20 min most days for over a mth,.
I was in bed for most of it as it so bad so rest as much as you can as moving around made it even worse for me.

I tried everything going and this is what I found eased it(nothing takes it away)

Crystalised ginger:
hot blackcurrent,
dry biscuits
dry toast.

I very nearly got hospitalised as it dehydrates you so drink as much fluid as you can take (as you know most of it comes up)

I also found lying onmy stomach was the best thing at easing it.All the best hun, it will pass soon.

Hiya

They should help you. I had them too and make the sickness better. I was admitted to hospital with hyperemisis and was sick the whole way through my pregnancy :(

I also found that Fox's mints helped too inbetween meals

Other than that I ate little and what I could - found that many things made my sickness worse :( Remember to keep your fluid level up, regardless of how much it makes you sick (if it does) otherwise you could end up in hospital and its not nice :(

Hope u feel better soon - I know how bad it can be.

I ordered them- am dying for them to come. Last night I woke at 3am to :puke: - I have a bucket by my bed now.

Today have :puke: x 2 already.

Have taken 2nd day off wrk in 2 weeks of a new job which is NOT good... I am averaging a day/week and I am NEW! They must be doubting me :?

Oh god, make me feel better and cope with the nausea

awwwww bless.

I hope you all feel better soon

With regards to water, i thnk you shouldnt gulp down loads, coz then it will all just come out. try sipping bits at a time. straught after you've been sick is a good time. Having said that gulping down loads of water is better than not having any at all.

Hope that helps :?

I found MILK was brill in my last pregnancy, and try an ice lolly to stop you from glugging down the water.

Good luck with it, I got it come.

Jane xx

if fluids are making you sick then drink 3 sips every 5 minutes for an hour - time yourself with a watch and write down each drink you take on a sheet of paper - by taking lots of little sips you dont irritate your stomach and it will stay down...

it works too - its how they rehydrate babies and children in A&E :)

I found that travel sickness bands really helped, so give them a try. I hope it improves for you soon, it's not a fun thing to put up with!

To be honest I found nothing really worked for me. Someone reccommended I try fennal tea, which I did manage to drink easily, so that ensured I was getting some liquid. My sickness started to fade at around 17 weeks, gone completely by 20. I hope it eases for you sooner rather than later. i think just try to ensure that you get some rest as the tiredness can infuse the problem.

Going back to you saying you have had spotting, I had spotting with both my pregnancies and luckily all turned out well. I don't know if you have already, but if your worried get it checked out, I had a couple of scans and they showed that all was well.
