i got a letter today from the nhs sayin they have tried to reach me but the number they have keeps goin to voice mail - regarding my results.
i thought we would discuss my results on my follow appointment.
why are they tryin to get in contact with?
is there someting wrong with me?
im so nervous, i hav butteryflies.
i need to phone them back but really dnt want to

i spoke to the secretary, im now waitin for the gyno to phone back between 12 n 12.30 after anti natal.
i am bricking it!!!!
i asked the secretary if theres someting wrong, she said something mighta been found from 1 of the swabs.
like what???

its jus i expected to discuss the results on 19th april.
not to get a letter sayin they've been tryin to contact me.
i was skyping with my friend in oz, wen the post came.
i thought it was my pelvic scan appointment, so i was dead excited on web cam to her.
if only it was that scan, noooo they jus wanna get my worried.
she saw my face drop, she knows all about us ttc.

i dont know how to say this to u all, im really shocked iv got chlamydia.
at least i can get treated, i now kno wats wrong.
i'll gonna have a dose iv anti biotics to get rid of it.
hubby will be tested too.
cant believe iv got it, me n hubby have been together 5years and iv not not the whole time.
doctor told me 60% of woman dnt kno they have it.
just dnt kno wat to think

Hi ab11,

im so sorry to hear this but at least they have caught it now for you and can get it sorted out for you. I have had it years ago before i met hubby and as soon as we got together i made him and i again get tested just to make sure we were ok. Its very quick the antibiotics nowadays and clear it up really quickly from what i can gather.

hubby needs to get tested now, i recon he must have it.

Im guna b honest with you hun, theres no way your hubby hasnt got it after all this time, but after he's got antibiotics too, (which with my ex they didnt even test him they just gave it to him straight away as i had it)then you will both b clear really quickly and you should be fine.

I think i must have had it for nearly two years before i found out but not 100%sure either as i was a bit wild back then. Im not proud of my actions back then and im glad it wasnt worse for me, my hubby knows that i had it and i have got it at the back of mind that i could have effected my fertility.

But the only way to know that is too have tests and scan on your tubes, which im sure they will organise for you hun, if not then ask them for them as you need to know. I really hope you are ok though and it all works out for you.

they might as well give him anti biotics straight away with me makes sense.
