Had my glucose test today at docs, they had to take one blood test, I then had to drink a glucose solution, sit in waiting room with about 20 Spanish women (average age 75) for an hour then have a 2nd blood test.
During the 2nd blood test I started to feel a bit hot and bothered, I told to nurse who wafted a folder in my face, which felt nice until suddenly about half a dozen leaflets came flying out and slapped my face!
Then as she resumed the test my vision got black and blurry and I was gone.
I woke up on the bed with the docs smiling face in between my risen legs which he had by my ancles above his head, singing "hola"!
As I looked around it became apparent that I had an audience of 2 nurses, the doc and 3 paramedics(they must have lifted me from the chair to the bed) and 2 or 3 old women peering in the door. Everyone was laughing.
Thought I'd share- it was funny but totally embarrasing.
