Anyone got one of these? I've just ordered one. The baby monitor we have is a video two way taking, temperature control, play lullabies etc but it doesn't monitor breathing, you can zoom in on baby so can see movement but I wanted something additional in case I wasn't watching constantly. I was put off by the angel monitors as my friend has one and it goes off all the time because baby moves from the pads, and she forgets to turn it off before picking baby up which means alarms at all hours! you also can't use it for anything else, only for cot sleeping. I wanted something to use while baby is in the car, the Moses basket the pram etc. this looks really good and has good write ups. I got the "hero"but there is a snuza "go" model as well which was a little cheaper. The hero lets you know if the sleep pattern has, on three occasions, fallen to one every 15 seconds per hour, or something like that! I'm going to try it on myself when I get it! If I hold my breath for 15 seconds it should vibrate to jolt me into taking a breath and if not the alarm goes of at 20 seconds, you can change the times as well. Hopefully a bit more piece of mind!

I hadn't heard of it either! I just googled breathing monitors and that popped up!

I wasn't aware of this one either - I was also put off by some of the reviews of the Angelcare, this sounds like an excellent alternative! Where did you order it from?

I got it from their site. I looked around and amazing and eBay sell them but after adding postage it's cheaper from their site. Just google them.

Yes we used this for the first 6 months and it was brilliant. Very rarely went off - it did once and to this day i still don't know why! We stopped using it at 6 months as he was such a wiggler and it kept falling off. Also if the nappy fills up too much with wee in the night that can effect it. But the best thing is the reassurance it gives you x

I don't think a lot of people know what this is so thought I'd add to the title! I certainly didn't know until I googled it!
