small baby

I was told my first would be a huge baby. He was 11 days over & 7lb 6oz. My daughter was only 3 days over & 7lb 14oz!

I was told at the beginning of this pregnancy that baby was feeling rather large (2 week larger) but now he's shrunk!

So I have no idea what he's doing in there. I think he's had his growth spurt already & is now just chubbing up!

Horrible when you're already used to normal pregnancies & then they tell you something out of the ordinary. 7 weeks is a long time to chub up. I only have 3 weeks so I am trying to force everything I can down. Macdonalds the lot

Hi Ange34 yer was induced cos he was small they picked it up on a scan at 31 weeks and then re-scaned at 35 and his weight had tailed off even more so said it was better to deliver him had the steriod injections for his lungs and was told there was a small chance he may need to go to scbu for a short time. He didnt. Had a natural delivery had to keep him wrapped up hat on constantly for bout a week as he struggled to hold his temperature on his own (he is a Jan baby) had to feed him every 3 hrs (bottle) but put weight on lovely even made it to normal weight at one point !! heis still small for his age will b 5 in Jan and is in 3-4 trousers eats well but is soo active burns evrything off !!

They have kept an eye on me with my second and this one second weighed 6ib 13 at term so they say thats still on small side as im a curvy girl. I have a growth scan on mon with this one and am nervous as this one seeems small too ! recently lost my appetite for bout 3 weeks starting to come back now though xxx

mmmm macdonalds lol,havent had that for monthes,youve got me fancyin a big mac now lol,got 1 two mins from my house actually and i think il atempt 1 later.probs only manage a quarter of it but il try even if it takes me hours to eat it all

thats brilliant that he was born that early and didnt even need scbu,any early baby usually does and the fact that he was small as well,he sounds absolutly fine tho now.im glad he was alright,really reasures me incase i have to go thru the same.xxx

I've recently lost my appetite too and lost a big chunk of weight myself which I was concerned about.. Mw reassured me that baby will still be getting everything it needs

sounds like all of us are all due around same time so its probably lack of room in there now makin us all feel not hungry,nice to kno its not just me anyway xx
