Slings

Looking at buying a sling ready for my newborn does anyone know which ones are the better ones? X

It depends what you're looking for. We tried a few from a sling library last time, which are great for getting an idea of what works for you without spending a lot of money first! I really liked a ring sling when baby was very small but found as soon as they're a bit heavier the weight distribution was no good. The stretchy types are lovely comfy material but I hated needing to wrap them all the time, they're soo long they drag on the floor and get dirty! So this time we're going for a close caboo, which is the stretchy material but pre-tied and then we've got a moby aria, which is a more structured carrier for when they're bigger xx

Great Thankyou. Just going to buy a second hand one but don’t really know which ones so wanted a few opinions. Quite a few of the caboo ones for sale so maybe they are the most popular x

We got a Hana Wrap. I'm utterly in love with it. Really well priced too

Look on fb for sling groups and try a sling library.
As above, I hated ring slings but love wrapping. It's just so personal!
I have a stretchy wrap for newborn, then a woven, mei tais and tula for a bit later.

My baby hates her sling but loves the Baby Bjorn newborn carrier so I think that’s worth looking into as well
