slight scare last nite

Minion is certainly a troublemaker already

Last night when I went to the toilet I thought I saw like a tiny bit of blood and like a wee tiny bit of jelly (sorry tmi) I thought nothing of it as I had just woken up and wasnt quite awake. When I went to the toilet later on (sorry worse tmi) for a no.2 after wiping like my bum I wiped my front bum(as I call it) and there was a streak of lightish pink blood said to hubby about it. He asked me what I wanted to do and I said I would keep an eye so sat and watched a bit of telly then before bed went for another pee and there was nothing.

There is still nothing there this morning but I am going to say to the maternity unti just so they know etc.

On a happier note daddy had a proud moment as he felt minion moving said it felt like someone had run their finger across his palm so that lightened the mood.

Will update once I have been to maternity when I get to work soon xx

Fingers crossed everything is absolutely fine, probably just minion being another of the babies that likes to occasionally give mummy a bit of a fright. Seems to be a lot of those!

Yes I think minion just trying to be naughty and keep us on our toes (which incidentally I bashed getting into the shower this morning so now hobbling a bit lol)

Phoned maternity unit when I got to work and she asked me questions of whether I had bumped minion or had sex etc but the only thing that had happened was that I had been for a poo so she asked if I was straining and I said no cos that was the one thing I didnt want during pregnancy was ocnstipation as have had it before and its horrific

They told me if it happens again or gets darker red to phone them back so Im now on underwear and toilet paper watch now (i refuse to wear any other colour of pants but white and only use toilet paper so I can investigate lol) xx

Thanks Lisa Im fairly calm now that i have spoke to someone and a friend has told me that theyre sister in law had the same thing about the same stage as me and everything was fine she has a bouncing baby boy of about 3 months old now - will keep you all posted xx

I was surprisingly calm last night when it happened because I had read about being calm from girls on here xx

Ok so I am more than sure I am over analysing things now because of what happened last night

Im going back and forth to the toilet not necessarily because I need to go but just to check and play detective with my underwear and toilet paper

So there is what i would say is discharge in my underwear but it looks fresh if that makes sense like not dried but there is nothing when I wipe

Am I just reading too much into this or should I phone maternity back and ask to be seen even if just to be reassured?xx

Yes been to Cresswell and they listened in good strong heartbeat stomach soft and I didny hit the roof when she was pressing on it which she said was all good. She just advised that to keep an eye and if it turned to bright red or I had abdominal pains to get back in touch. Little minion is gonna get a talking to lol and still has a good strong poking motion to let me know they are still there (knowing my child it will probably be sticking two fingers up at me from the inside lol) xx

U probs emailed too but I had another ice lolly break and went home at 4. Heats lovely but walking home was hell! I must try to stick it out till everyone else goes and get a lift even half way!

Anyway, glad cresswell have ur mind at rest. Get your feet up and chill. I've been in bed for last 2 hours, usual. Totally struggling. Must feed baby now. It will start poking me too if it's deprived much longer.

Yeh walking isny the best at best of times but in this heat and while pregnant makes it harder

Just back from cinema seen dark shadows was excellent but afraid to say minion has misbehaved a little again i need to have serious words with him/her

Hey hun feel oki but minion decided to play up again even lighter colour than last night and much as I dont wana gross anyone out it happened after I passed wind - gonna keep an eye on it as just been back to the toilet and there is nothing

Perhaps I am straining and not realising it is it possible for this to happen. I don have any cramps or pains in my stomach/abdomen and heartbeat was strong today when checked xxx

Thanks hun it looked even lighter with a kind of very pale brown to it last night. Tried to keep calm about it but was sill at back of my miind.............anyway this morning when I went to the toilet (if you know what I mean tmi) here was nothing so minion has obviously lisened to the talking to mummy and daddy gave it lol xxx
