Hi I'm just over 6 weeks pregnant, only just confirmed it with a test at the end of last week.

Anyway I was wondering if anyone else gets occassional slight achey twingey cramps around the relevant area :)

Just hoping that it's ok and not a bad sign.

I had a miscarriage, 8 years ago now, and that involved a pain, but that was more of a constant dull pain rather than twinges.

This is nothing that's come on suddenly, I think I've had it throughout the last few weeks- thought it meant my period was coming, so kept waiting :D

hi hun and huge congrats :cheer: i get this from time to time, its quite normal its like the ligaments stretching to make room for the baby as it grows. :D

Just keep an eye on it and if it gets any worse then see your doc

Hi congrats on your bfp..

all sounds normal, its all those ligaments getting ready to prepare for your growing lo hun..

Relax a little and enjoy it hun

I get these too. I think it's as everyone else said, your body preparing :)

Congrats Katy

Just replied to Barbie post on something similar, here was my experience:

Pregnancy is such a worrying time...I had weird pains for a few months, and LOADS of discharge (sorry if TMI), I was constantly running to loo convinced AF had arrived!! Every time I wiped, I was waiting to see blood, it was awful. I dont think you trully relax a little until you have your first scan, and even after that, until you feel bubba kicking...

The worry didnt stop there for me, Ruby was a very lazy baby, I hardly felt her move, so I was constantly worrying something was up!!

Try and relax a bit chicky, its such an amazing and happy time being pregnant, I loved it, even though the worry nearly sent me grey

Wishing you a happy, healthy 9 months

Hope this reassures you a little xxxxxxxxx

Me too lol the last time I was pregnant (a miscarriage 8 years ago) before I knew I was pregnant I took a thrush tablet because I thought I had a lergi!

Thanks Ruby, it's nice to know people get similar things- especially if you have had a miscarriage before, I think it's even more scary

   I am sorry to hear of your previous loss chicky, hopefully we can all help you through the worrying times, its so reasurring to have the support of the lovely gals on here xx
