My LO sleeps from 7pm (ish) til 7am (ish) with a dream feed at 10pm

He used to take 8oz at that dream feed, he now takes about 3oz at 9pm and still sleeps til 7am

I'm thinking he might be ready to drop that feed?

He is 13.5 week old... Does any body else's baby sleep 7-7 this young?? Or have any of you done the dream feed?? When did you drop it??

Thank you xxx

My daughter did 8-8 from about 6 weeks old, my son 8-6/7 from about 16 weeks. If you think he is ready for it then give it a go. Just do it on a day when you have no plans in case he wakes in the early hours. If it doesn't work, keep giving him the dream feed and try again in a month or so x

What!!!!!!!!!???! Not fair I have 3 children, youngest is 16 weeks and none of them slept through until well over a year! 16 week old still up 3 times a night!! Sorry no advise just wanted to say well done on your lo sleeping through so young!!

Oh how lucky are you!
My LO is only 3 weeks old but id love for this...
Was it just a natural progression on their part? X

My daughter slept 7-8 from 3 weeks old. My son is 7 weeks and doing 9-5. I would drop the dream feed and see how it goes. We never dream feed our babies and they still slept nicely, good luck!

Thanks everyone... No it wasn't a natural progression as such, from about 4 week old I started a bed time routine at 6pm every night, bath bottle bed, then I would always wake him at 7am in the morning... After a week or 2 he just fell into this routine! Since 6 week old he's always been asleep by 7pm, dream fed at 10pm, he used to wake at 4/5am for a feed but dropped that and now just has his morning feed! I still have to wake him sometimes at 7am! we are bery lucky that he took to the routine. My LO is my first baby so I had no idea what I was doing and all the advice I got from other mothers was to start routine asap so I did :) he's a very good sleeper at night but a nightmare in the day, he doesn't like naps lol, day time is play time and night time is sleep time xxx

I'm going to try no dream feed tonight and see what happens... Might just try give him a few extra ounces in the day to keep him going! then he might take a full feed at 7am! He's done the same this morning and only taken 5oz even though he's not eaten since 9.30pm, he used to take 8-9oz at 7am so he must be ready to drop that dream feed (I hope) xxx

Emilie goes up to 12 hours through the night without a feed. She is 14 weeks old. I would give it a try and see how you go.

How much does she eat in the day hun?? Isaac is 15lbs 8oz so he has between 33 and 36 oz in a day! I'm struggling to get that in him now that he's takin less on his morning feed xxx

I never dream-fed either of mine (in fact I hadn't heard of it until I met up with some mummy friends and they were all talking about it!). My daughter went from 8pm-5am at 3.5 months old. My son was nearer 8 months by the time he slept through. As long as they're taking their milk requirement during the day, they should be able to sleep through. We also had quite a set routine.

Good luck!

We are ok pretty much the same routine. Might try the same as she only takes 4 to 5oz at 10pm and is happy until 7am ish when she wakes. We also got our girly I to a routine quite young and if she wakes in the night her dummy settles her. x

Emilie was 12lb 4 when last weighed two weeks ago. She still only takes 5oz per feed but due to reflux she can sometimes bring a lot of that up. I think she roughly takes 25 to maybe 30oz

OMG... 2 hours, you must be exhausted!!! I don't know how you do it xxx

My 29 week old won't sleep longer than 2 hours...

I feel ya! Occasionally get 3 hours and she's 5 months old. I'm breastfeeding though do heard its normal x

I'm breastfeeding too and eventually I get to tired she comes into bed with me and I feed her lying down!
She has started to do 3-4 hours and now it's back to 1-2 hours :( so tired!!!!
