Don't you just miss it? I've been lying wide awake since 6am and not wanting to move incase I disturb my wee dogs, never mind my OH. Im going to have to get up soon as babies are kicking away and I'm uncomfortable :nap:

I've been quite lucky and haven't had any problems sleeping so far. I can go to bed about 9.30pm and sleep until 6.30am when I would get up for work. Last night I slept from about 10.30pm until 7.30am. Feels weird not having to get up for work!! I am up a couple of times a night for the loo though.

Haven't had a decent night's sleep for about 5 yrs! I am weirdly used to it now and even if nothing wakes me I still wake worrying something's wrong!

Woke up at 11pm, 1am & 3:30am last night and couldn't get back to sleep after waking up at 3:30 so am now at work like a complete zombie! Not helped by colleagues telling me it will only be worse once the baby get here! :(

This really annoys me - it's like it's the only thing people can think of saying. "Get as much rest as you can because you'll need it" or "you'll not get any once they're here". Do people think we think they're just going to sleep through as soon as they're born and have no idea we're going to be knackered?! Another case of people having no idea what to say so just say stupid crap instead. Carrying twins you'd think I'd be used to the stupid comments by now but I still want to knock people out

Oh jeeeez I'm up at least 4 times peeing every night, or up thirsty for a drink. I can't remember what it feels like like not to be tired.

I'm getting the whole 'make the most of it' and 'get used to it' talk aswell 😳

Sometimes I'm up just once, sometimes it can be 4 times. Usually I don't have too much trouble getting back to sleep though. It's so annoying - I'm sure people think because we're ftms we're clueless and think it's going to be a breeze! I just smile and don't even reply now, the smile may disappear soon too

The "wait until baby's here" comments really wind me up! I don't think I've slept through the night the whole pregnancy. Started with horrendous indigestion at the beginning that made me wake up in pain, followed by painful hips waking me up, followed by just waking up, now it's a mixture of painful hips, just waking up then not sleeping coz wigglers wiggling so much
Definitely just getting used to being tired!

Are you doing anything for your hips, I get this really bad on my left hip from lying on it. I've started sleeping with my pillows higher up a bit which helps but I still wake up sore x

I bought one of those giant U shaped ones which worked for a few weeks but seems to have stopped being as effective again. do you sleep with your hips on the pillows or use them as support around you?

I did have pillows at my legs and under my bump but they weren't helping tbh. I'm sleeping slightly better with my pillows elevated a bit.

I sleep with one pillow lengthways down my front (if I lie on my right) which sort of supports my bump but I also tend to lie on my left side with the pillow behind me so I don't roll onto my back. If I spend too long on my right I wake up with pain in my knee. I have got one of those v shaped pillows but it was useless! Those massive ones that go between your legs then up your front and under your head look so comfy but we're running out of space in the bed and I think I'll just cope for another 8 weeks lol.

Since ,3 days before we found out I've been up to wee all night. Literally have forgotten what an unbroken, 8 hour sleep is! Sometimes I also wake up because I'm starving, and then obviously my mind has to stress about EVERYTHING.... Yep, the "wait til baby comes" comments really piss me off too! Xxx

I got a stupid comment yesterday about not being able to bf because of the section, I did before and will again. Everyone has an opinion on everything. I actually am waiting for someone to say about early mornings etc cos I actually miss how all my housework was done by 8am cos I was up early and saw my hubby before he went to work.

I haven't slept through the night since the start of my pregnancy. Now I'm 33 weeks it is only getting worse. I'm so tired & think it would be so lovely to be able to nap in the day..got another 2.5 weeks at work yet though! :nap::nap::nap:

Oh I love my afternoon naps! On mat leave now so it's the perfect excuse ;) xxx

Ive been trying to have afternoon naps but someone is having work done in the house behind us amd I just can't sleep! Just 5 weeks left in work I am soooo counting down!

I am 34 weeks and been struggling with sleep for weeks. I am sick of the oh get used to it crap from people! I have been sleeping when I need to, maternity leave is awesome for that but not sleeping at night isn't fun xx

I have literally been awake all night. Combination of pain in my legs, pain under my ribs, heartburn, needing to wee & feeling nauseous. I am meant to be getting up & going to work in a couple of hours. The thought makes me want to cry.

Ive been awake since 3.30 :-( don't have work but have 2 hospital appointments 5 hrs apart so need to fill the gap and was going to do some shopping! Didn't really want to come home as its 1.5 hr round trip. Hope you get through the day ok xx
