Hi all, my little one has liked to hide in all scans, so much I had to have a third because baby was hiding curtain organs!
All checks done now however baby was still keeping it's gender a secret and wouldn't open legs.
The last sonographer gave a good guess as a couple of times she saw three lines, I wondered if the skull theory might match what her guess was.
Please give me your guesses.

Apparently at 12 week scan if the forehead appears flat rather than round its likely to be a girl, if its obviously round its a boy. It proved correct for DS and 90% of friends who have had babies or become pregnant this year!

Thanks for explaining.

Have you used it yourself and do you think its possible to do it from my scan?

I did with DS, and it was right with him, though we knew he was a boy anyway (gut feeling and hubby's side all seem to produce boys).
We have guessed with friends babies too and so far all have been right other than one who I thought looked like a boy and turned out to be a girl lol.
How many weeks is baby in that scan picture? :)

That scan was at 20+3 and im now 24+6

Thanks

For me it was the other way round, my DS had the most flattish forehead at 13 week scan and I was convinced from day one it is a boy anyway . This time at the 12 week scan the baby has a round forehead so will be interesting to find the gender as it is completely different from my first x

P.S Lovely scan!
