Skinny jeans

Has anyone else noticed that in addition to there being a lack of maternity clothes generally on the high st (as discussed in a previous post) that when it comes to jeans all you seem to be able to get is *******ing skinny jeans!? I just want some boot cut. It's so frustrating. I'm overweight AND pregnant the last thing I want is skinny jeans!!

I know they're fashionable at the moment but still. Was excited to see mothercare had a sale but literally all the jeans Instore were skinny ones, impossibly skinny. Anyone else notice this?! Rant over!

I've got some Next ones - I was lucky and got them in the sale for £15.
I think they are better fitting than their normal jeans tbh! I have short legs and a long body so I struggle with jeans anyway.
I haven't even contemplated skinny jeans - just the thought of trying to get them on terrifies me!

Yep, have noticed exactly the same. Jojomammanbebe are the only place I've managed to find bootcut jeans in my size x

I checked next a while ago and my size was out of stock but just looked now and they have them - thanks ladies! Good shout on jojo emmajaine thanks. Reluctant to spend much money but you can live in jeans can't you so guess it's worth the investment so will try there too xx

I got mine from next. Debenhams and peacocks also do them. I struggled as I need short leg too!

Exact same problem. New Look used to do them so I had two pairs from previous pregnancies but my giant thighs have worn th fabric away in both pairs. I got a pair of boot cut from JoJoMaman Bebe in the sale at the end of my last pregnancy thinking I should have them for any future pregnancies (they were £5) and although I can wear them in desperation they don't really fit well and need to be hoiked up all the time. Might consider ordering another pair in case the style has changed. Was really annoyed that I have access to a jojo store but they said they don't keep bootcut in stock to try on as no one wants them. Totally don't believe that's true! X

Yes! I have huge calves and find skinny jeans a struggle but that's pretty much all I could find. I've heard that maternity jeans are baggier all over so am hoping that the pair I've ordered will fit but if not I'll check out the recommendations here. Glad it's not just me!

Peacocks usually do straight and boot cut jeans.
I've also found that you can't be tall and pregnant... Haven't found anything past 30in I need 33-34 I've just stuck to a larger size jeans from primark, personally I do love my skinny jeans! So I've just gone for straight leg in a size 18 and they still fit me at nealry 32 weeks lol xx
