Ellie can now sit completely unaided. She has been so close for a long time and could manage a few seconds sitting with cushions or you hands balancing her but today she was able to sit for several minutes without any support. I am so proud of her. :cheer:

Yeah!!!! That must be so exciting for both you and Ellie!

wow she is a clever girl!!!

Ellis is only just getting there!! haha xxxxx

thats fantastic, shes quite young to be sitting up, she must be very clever

Thanks all. Didn't realise it was early. She started doing it a few days after starting nursery, maybe it is watching the other children sitting up helped her to do it? We have to put her sitting but she then stays there and plays happily for ages before she starts to moan, which I assume means she is getting to tired to hold her balance any longer. The problem I have now, is I shouldn't technically be using the bouncy chair with her any more but she loves sitting in it for short periods and it is convenient for her to sit in that while I am cooking, and we are having supper etc.
