sister just had baby at 26 weeks **UPDATED** in 1st post

i just found out my sister has had her baby boy on saturday at only 26 weeks, i dont know much else, got to wait to find out. he has been transferred to a different hospital. hope he is ok.

UPDATE 20/02/2008
mum text me late last night, and gave me more info. My sister was rushed to a and e saturday with pain, was told she was in labour, they couldnt stop it! As she was only 26 weeks, they gave her a scan to check on size of baby etc. Baby was breach and had his cord wrapped around his legs, so wouldnt have come out vaginally. They gave her an emergency c-section, her little boys name is Liam and he is 1lb 10 oz, he was transferred to city hospital straight away. He caught an infection on sunday and had to have a blood transfusion bless him, but he is stable and they have said there are no major concerns at this time. Hope he gets better soon

this is her third, they were supposed to be keeping an eye on her at hospital due to the first two both being born at 31 weeks, who are both fine. But i dont think they expected this one arriving so quickly.

My sister had her baby at 25+6 and now her little girl is 10 with no problems whatsoever and she is tall for her age!
