Hi girls

Anyones Babies had this? It means new baby only has one artery in her umbilical cord instead of two.

Its can be a sign of fetal growth restriction, chromosomal abnormalities, skeletal defects, genitourinary defects.

Dr scanning said she look normal in all over ways, heart size, bone measurements, fluid amounts etc etc .... so fingers crossed she will be fine.

I just wondered if anyone else had this, since finding out i have heard of one lady whos baby was fine at birth and another one has just been told this but if pregnant still.

Hello,

My DD (9yrs) had single umbiliical artery. I didn't find out about it until she was 15mths old. I don't know why the hospital didn't tell me.

She is perfectly healthy, so try not to worry!

Good luck!
