Single Parent? Income Support?

I go on income support next week as my maternity allowance runs out. was just wondering how much i will get?

I get
£60.20 for myself
£18.80 child benefit
£50-60 child tax credit

£129 per week minimum.

Not an awful lot. You'll get the very minimum the law says you should live on.. which is crap!

Income Support is only about £60 a week.

What other income do you have? I have a feeling they might take that into consideration.

I get £60.60 child tax credit's, £18.80 child benefit and nothing from his dad as of yet! I thought income support would be around £55 so never mind lol its crap tho
