Signed off due to blood pressure & Section booked!

I have been to clinic today - I am under consultant care due to my history, and today my blood pressure was quite high. They put me on the big machine and although it did stabilise a little bit they said that I wasnt to go back to work. I have to go back to the community midwife next week for my BP to be checked again, and hopefully it will be more normal.

I have been given a 2 week sick note which takes me up to my last day, so mo more work for me!!!!!

They have also booked me in for my section which if I make it that far will be 20th October. It just seems weird that we are working to an exact date - well thats if George decides he wants to stay in there for that long.

I feel really strange, although I am glad that I dont have to go to work it feels funny that I would just be finishing like this.

I have got my Baby Shower next Friday night so I will see all the girls then, but I was sort of looking forward to my last few days in work.

Glad they are taking you BP seriously. I really had to fight for mine to be reviewed and they ignored things until it was almost too late! So it's nice to hear they are keeping an eye on you
