Sicknote question

I have been off work since having an early show and having a severe bout of Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction and need a sick note to cover me for 1 day (been off for over 7 already)

DI have been under midwiery care - anyone know who I need to contact for it?? Doctor or Midwife???

I would think it has to be your doctor as your normally have to pay for sick notes (I think, don't quote me on that though).

My MW sorts sick notes out at my clinic, obviously the GP signs them but saves an appointment. give your surgery a call tomorrow and see what they say.

Well I've never had a sick note so perhaps that is not the case I just always assumed you had to pay for them along with other types of doctors notes. I had to pay for my travel insurance medical certificate which was about £40. Lol ignore me, I am all uninformed

i wouldnt put it past a few GPs to try and charge to be quite honest , I have had them thrust at me over the course of this pregnancy however have chosen not to use quite a few of them, I would be bankrupt if they charged me LOL.
