I've had constant sickness since I was about 7/8 weeks and still now every mornin I throw up at least twice and I've lost a stone from it its not made me under weight at all but just wondering if this is or can be dangerous to baby should I mention it to doctor/midwife ? xxx

I'd mention it to the midwife, however I'm sure bubs is fine because it'll be getting all it needs frm your reserves. Probably why you've been losing weight. I lost nearly 2 stone in Tri1 but I had a lot to lose anyway so wasn't that concerned. I did mention it to the MW but she wasn't too concerned either.

Its not dangerous to lose weight during a pregnancy unless its being done dangerously (ie vlcd, strict diet) but in case hun your being sick and im assuming trying to eat as well as possible. Mention to your midwife though on next visit as they may keep an eye on you. As long as it dont put you underweight your fine, if your like me and have plenty of 'reserves' lol! baby will be fine!

i lost a stone with first and over half a stone with this one,

although it doesnt harm baby you can get hyperemesis which i had, the mw will send u to hospital for a jab in your leg to stop the sickness as if u keep being sick u can get dehydrated xx

Yeah I lost weight in Tri 1. Soon making up for it now though! But some peoples sickness is worse than others. My friend recently had a baby and she had sickness pretty much all through (fingers crossed you don't, I don't think it's common) But anway her little bubs and she were perfectly healthy, so it shouldn't do any harm to your LO. I still had sickness around 13 weeks too, but it died off around 15/16 weeks. Hope you start to feel a bit better soon hun xxx

Thanks everybody well I'm defo not under weight by any means lol ! Today actually was one of my better days sick once this morning not too bad fingers crossed this is it dying down, in a funny way I'll probably miss it because its a little reassurance babys okay! Lol xx
