Hi all,

Prob a little late for me as I only have approx 18 days left but I have never been offered ante-natal classes?

This is my second pregnancy (my 1st now being nine!!!!) and I am not sure if I should have been advised of them or asked for some. I have forgotten everything from the last lot I had due to the length of time, my new pregnancy brain and having not long reached 30 :).

Not due to see MW until 13th but would appreciate any thoughts you have on this.

I havnt been told either and only saw middy last week, maybe we should have asked

Thinking your right but remembering to ask would have been a problem - I can only just remember to get dressed in the mornings :rotfl:

I had to keep asking about them - in the end my MW's ran 4 classes..........

1st class - fathers questions
2nd class - What to expect in hospital, pain relief etc
3rd class - Breastfeeding
4th - What to do when you get your baby home

Even though its my first most of the information I already knew, and it was the breastfeeding class I found the most useful. We were going to go on a weekend NCT course, but decided I had read enough, and could get all the info I needed from here :D

It was good from the point of view there were only 4 of us attending the classes, and all came minus our husbands, so we used to meet for lunch and have all kept in touch since!

same here, i never remember to put the washing machine on after adding the soap, what are the chances of remembering something important :rotfl:

How's this one then - I just tried to drink my tea and realised I had never actually put any water in my cup - just a lonely RL teabag
