Should I go to A&E

I've just started spotting red and brown after a lovely bath, and really nervous. I was spotting on Wednesday and I am having a scan in the morning. Is it worth going to A&E in any case?

What time is your scan tomorrow hun?

As you are so early in pregnnacy the later you leave it there more they will be able to see?

Also I am not sure how well A&E will be equipped to help this early either sweetie?

Is it just spotting? No red blood or cramps?

if the blood is brown then it s old blood and nothing to worry about

It's a very reddy brown. I'll wait it out till the morning. Thanks all, just in panic mode, and still got this horrible headache!

Take a few paracetamol for the headache darling!

Fingers crossed for tomorrow, although 5w 2d is very early to see anything so don't panic if they can't see much. You normally cannot see a HB prior to 6 weeks.

I am guessing they'll scan you to check things are in the right place and get you back in a week or so to check for HB

Rest up go lay down & you can take paracetomol for your headache its safe to use.

A&E will only check if your cervix is open or closed & do another hpt for you - thats all they can do. When you go for your scan you will prob be able to see a very tiny gestation sac - you wont see no fetal pole this early as it will be too small to see babe.

At your scan tomorrow they will take some hcg beta bloods from you prob. I know its scarey when you see any sight of spotting - spotting is commen in pregnancy, hey could be twins they say spotting is more commen in twin pregnancy
