Should I be worried?

Had a near miss this morning, nearly got taken out by a tractor on my drive to college. He came flying round the bend on my side of the road

Baby's been moving fine all day, but think I've started having my first lot of Braxton Hicks. I think that's what it is anyway, but they're nothing like how I expected. Really noticable and feel like they should hurt, but they don't at all. They don't build up or fade away either, they just stay pretty constant for a couple of minutes.

I was proper hysterical this morning after the run in, cannot believe my car wasn't written off. We didn't hit each other but it was so close. Obviously I've been on the lookout for things out of the ordinary with baby today, but all it is is these possible BH which I'm sure I've not had before.

I'm assuming all is okay??? What do you think? Xx

I'd have it checked out, to be honest....just to be on the safe side!

No harm in calling the hospital to see what they say xx

Left a voicemail with the midwife. If she doesn't call back by 5 I'll ring hospital I guess... urgh. I've only noticed about 3 today, but that's 3 more than ever before. Usually I'm pretty good at burying my head in the sand and ignoring things because I feel like it will be okay eventually, but not sure now is that time for that! Xx

Oh bethy that is horrible :-(! Really hope you are feeling better this afternoon. Did midwife get back to you. Is always worth a call if you have a significant change.

You must have got such a fright. Baby will be feeling your anxiety so try to keep yourself nice and calm xx

Yes, heard from midwife, she was just asking how sudden the stop was and was there any impact to bump etc. Also asked if I've had any bleeding, which I haven't. She said all should be fine as I'm rhesus positive (if negative would have needed a jab), and to just keep an eye and take it easy. It's so nice to be able to ring a midwife whenever for reassurance.

Thanks ladies xx
