Hi everyone, me again!

I'm totally bewildered by all the baby products that are available. Which ones do I actually need and which ones are just "nice to haves"? Like a shopping list?

Until Isaac got to 6months I only used water on him, product wise I used Oats in his bath (soak it through a muslin, its a great natural mosituriser) and olive oil for his cradle cap). Up until 6wks babies really don't need any products on their skin, but obviously that's apersonal choice I've recently started using Little Me baby organic range, and I've found them really nice and Isaac loves them too Oh and since he started teething I've used metanium on his bum as he;s had the odd sore day, his bum was never sore before teething

EDIT: I thought you were asking in relation to baby toiletries for some reason

It's a good question but difficult to answer as what's useful to one person might not be to another. Plus obviously there are essentials that you need, those aside I found one of my best buys was the Bumbo seat. Which you can use from around 4 months or when they can hold their heads up by themselves.

We ended up using it until our son was about 8/9 months, it was really handy when we were weaning too.

My other best buy was the Annabel Karmel complete baby and toddler recipie book. Still use it a lot now.

Agree with Redshoes, metanium is fab when baby has a really sore bottom such as when they're teething.
