Shit!!! So scared! **UPDATED**

Just been to see midwife and she wants me to go for an urgent growth scan! Not got one booked in until 20th Sept but she wants me seen ASAP as my fundal measurement was 34cm at 31 weeks. I'm way off the scale so she isn't happy to wait given my history - she actually looked petrified. She couldn't find what position she was in either but the second midwife had a feel and thought she was Transverse. Been having weird twingy pains in my cervix today. I dont feel too full of fluid like I was with Ethan so please god all is fine. She was fine on Sat at the 4D scan so surely nothing much could have happened in a few days! To top it off she is being a madam and not moving much just to scare mummy!!

I'm shitting it girls - I'm just sat waiting for a phonecall!

All is fine with our little girl
Fluid level is fine, a little above average but not concerning - AFI of 20.7 at 31+4
Baby only just above average size, so not a whopper!
She was very active during the scan and looked very happy although still in a strange position!
So so happy all is well!! Next appt and scan 34 week although midwife wants to see me again next week

Oh ((((((hun))))), I'm sure they are just being extra, extra careful with you because of Ethan. Please try not to worry yourself too much. At least you are getting the best possible care and they are keeping an eye on you and not taking any risks xxx

I don't know what happened with Ethan, but if you had a 4D scan, do try not to worry!!!! They usually tell you if there is something wrong or not quite right. We were given a weight estimate based on size at ours. I was really worried about the weight of my baby cos she seems massively heavy according to my fundal height chart, and my midwife said that mostly it gives them a guide to follow to make sure the baby's size isn't totally way off or they seem to stop growing - you might find just the baby's position effects it, as a really high up baby can push the top of the womb higher up, making the measurement larger.

What were you measuring last time?

Just called US department as I'm going out of my mind. I burst into tears as she said she hadnt even had to scan referral yet! My daughter is supposed to be at a party and have her first swimming lesson back after the summer hols and she is probably gonna miss it now. I burst out crying and was a total mess on the phone so he said she will chase it and call me back in half an hour.

The fluid increased very quickly with Ethan, that's what they are worried about rather than weight. He got Hydrops and his little body was full of fluid and I got severe Polyhydramnios. He became distressed and the fluid increased very quickly over not even a two week period and we lost him

My MW knows how quickly it can take hold so it may be a case of getting her out whilst she is still healthy if it looks like things are going that way. I'm so not ready for her to come yet! I need to calm down as it's probably fine xx

I don't know whether they ring through scan referrals or wait til they go back to the hospital, if its the latter then that would explain why they haven't got it yet, but i'm sure now you've rung, they are doing anything and everything to get you a scan appointment ASAP. In things like this, they fit you in! Good luck, let us know how you get on with them. If there didn't seem to be an abnormality on Sunday and there is a problem, they'll have caught it early. Keep that in mind and try and think positive!

Got scan booked for 10am tomorrow, pls god I hope my fluid levels are fine. Like u say if it's the start of Hydrops again they have caught it very early. I'm hoping it's just cos shes transverse x
