Sharpe stabbing pain?

I've been getting really uncomfortable stabbing/shooting pains in the "nether region" area on and off. Anyone know what this could be It's really not pleasant

Phew...gave me such a shock Felt like an electric shock. Just has a nose around on the internet and it appears that these pains can happen when your cervix starts softening or one site said "when baby is knocking on the cervix door" .......so yey if that is the case :cheer

I was just about to post about exactly the same thing!!

The only way I could think of to describe it was like someone or something trying to push razor blades through my cervix! It didn't last for long each time but it made me scream each time it did happen.

Someone please tell me that labour is not just an extended version of this!!!!

sounds like the same pain as i've been getting too...hopefully it's just the cevix softening If labour is an extended version of this pain then I'll def be asking for that epidural

its exciting isnt it. i cant wait to feel it. not having epi this time for sure

I've had that a lot too and it's got worse the past few days. I literally jump now. MW said it is to do with the cervix starting to efface.

oo ive been getting this too, scared me at first cos it makes me shoot ip clenching lol
